Meet Growth IQ.

  1. Measured for their ageRead against their own age group, from 8 to 18.
  2. Moves when something real changesIt follows the trend, so one night never defines a player.
  3. Never a rankingNo leaderboards and no team scores. Just your player's own path.
Maya's Growth IQ after 10 games of a sample season

Growth is hard to see in one game. Easy to see in a season.

Game1of 10

Game 1 is in. Growth IQ waits for five games, so one night can't define her.

The number moves when something real changes.

Each point is a game in Maya's sample season. Big nights nudge it. Quiet nights barely dent it.

    1Game 5On at 74

    Growth IQ switches on

After five games there is enough to read her fairly. She starts at 74, measured for her age group.

    2Game 6Up 2

A big night, a small move

10 points on 7 shots is Elite scoring for her age. The number goes up 2, not 20. One game never makes a season.

    3Game 7Down 1

    A quiet game

Two points and a lot of defense. The number dips by 1 and holds, because the five-game window remembers the good games too.

One number, built in the open.

Growth IQ runs from 40 to 99.

Why start at 40? So no one ever opens the app to a failing grade. Every player starts on the board.

70% is how she plays for her age. 30% is how much she's growing.

How she playsScoring efficiency, playmaking and disruption count equally, each read against her age group.

How much she's growingHer last 5 games against the 5 before.

    Three rules keep it fair.

    1. It shows after five games.

One game can't define her, so the number waits until there is enough to read.

    2. It never ranks her against anyone.

It reads her against her age group and her own recent games. Not teammates, not other kids.

    3. It pauses while she moves up an age group.

Ratings hold through the change, so a birthday never looks like a slump.

Every level is a real place to grow from.

Solid. The skill is there and working. Every rating starts here, and it is a real place to grow from.

    Elite

A rating only shows when there is enough to read fairly: 5 shots for scoring, 3 assists for playmaking. A quiet night shows nothing, never a zero.

    What's working

Maya's scoring efficiency keeps climbing. She's finishing strong inside and picking smarter shots every game.

    Room to grow

Free throws are the next step. The reps are there and the percentage is trending up game over game.

Sample games and story with example insights in the app's voice. The ratings follow the app's real rules for her age group.

    No team scores, no leaderboards.

Youth sports has plenty of box scores and rankings. Courtside IQ is built around one player and their own growth, and that shapes what it refuses to show.

    • No team scores

The app follows your player, not the scoreboard. There is no final score to log and nothing to win or lose.

    • No leaderboards

Your player is never ranked against teammates or other kids. Growth IQ is a read on one player, not a place in line.

    • Measured for their age

A 9-year-old and a 16-year-old are each read against their own age group, so the numbers mean the same thing at every age.

    • Private to your family

Profiles belong to your account. No public pages, no shared rankings, nothing posted anywhere.

Game complete shows your player, not the scoreboard.

    Questions parents ask

    What ages is it for?

Players from 8 to 18. Every rating is read against your player's own age group, so a 9-year-old and a 16-year-old are each measured fairly for where they are.

What does the free plan include?

One player and three games, each with its full read, so you can see exactly what Courtside IQ does with a game. Growth IQ needs five games to mean something, so it arrives with Premium, along with unlimited games and up to three players.

Why can't I see a Growth IQ yet?

Growth IQ needs five games before it shows, so one big or quiet night can't define your player. Until then, every game still gets its own insight. On the free plan, Premium unlocks the games that get you there.

Is my player compared to other kids?

No. There are no leaderboards and no team scores. Growth IQ reads your player against what is typical for their age and against their own recent games, never against teammates.

Who can see my player's information?

Player profiles belong to your account and there are no public profiles. Our privacy policy explains exactly what is stored and why.

Do I need signal in the gym?

No. Track the whole game without a connection and it syncs when you are back online. The insight arrives once it does.

    How do I cancel Premium?

Cancel any time in your app store subscription settings. On the monthly plan, cancelling before the 7-day trial ends means you are not charged.
